Recognize your true nature

Welcome May!!!! I am so glad to be back in Miami after enjoying some time off in beautiful St Petersburgh, FL. I really enjoyed changing scenery, getting to hang out with dear friends and family, as well as meeting new people. It was great to have an open/free week; in which I got to delight in the beauty of the arts at the Dali Museum, spend quiet time at the beach, have a laugh over a meal shared with lovely people; just rejoicing in the opportunity of living life without having to fulfill any specific schedule.

I came back with a renewed sense of myself, as this break allowed enough time not only for joyful playing around, but also for contemplation and insight. This time off, made me realize how much I have learned in the last couple of years, and how lucky I am to be thriving in this new path that I chose to live when I decided to fully commit myself to sharing my yoga with you.

As I looked back to where I was when I started this journey, and see where I am right now, I gained a new perspective and a newfound faith of what the future holds and will bring. Sometimes it is necessary to stop, find the silence and stillness inside to be able to see ourselves clearly with the eyes of the heart; recognize our efforts, our accomplishments, our “failures” – which are nothing other than lessons needed to be learned- so that we get to grasp a sense of our power and beauty, and appreciate ourselves more fully.

In my regular routine, I find this stillness and space every time I sit down and meditate, so I encourage you to take some time, every day, even if it is just for 5 minutes; to find the silence within yourself and recognize your true nature. I look forward to seeing you on the mat this month, to explore our inner beauty as we share and grow together through the practice of yoga.

I know exactly how it feels to ‘stop’ and find yourself in the silence. I’ve done it through the years and I think I have finally found my comfort zone. Haven’t had much time to sit and mediate in a mat…. Very hard to do with a 3 year old ! But whenever I had the chance, I did it and it felt great! Looking forward to do it once again in the near future. 🙂
Best to you Farrah, wonderful post!
    Love ya,

I am glad you have made the time, even if it was just for few minutes to find the silence within yourself. Thanks for reading and for the comment. Much Love! : ) Blessings & Happiness! F
